Marea
We read every message.
Email [email protected] and we will get back to you within two business days. If you are writing about a problem, it helps to include your iPhone model and iOS version, which you can find in Settings under General, then About.
Marea syncs through your own iCloud account, so check three things. Both devices should be signed in to the same Apple Account. iCloud Drive should be turned on, in Settings under your name, then iCloud. And Marea should be enabled in that same iCloud list. Sync can take a minute or two, and it will not run on a device that is signed out of iCloud.
Yes. Everything works normally, but your data stays on that one device only. It will not sync anywhere and it will not be included in an iCloud backup, so it is lost if the device is lost.
Open Settings inside the app and choose Export. Marea creates a readable file with everything it has stored and lets you save it or send it wherever you like.
Open Settings inside the app and choose Delete All Data. You will be asked to confirm by typing DELETE. This permanently removes your information from this device and from your private iCloud, on every device where you use Marea. It cannot be undone.
Deleting the app by itself removes only the local copy, so use the in app option first if you want the synced copy gone too.
Check that notifications are allowed for Marea in the iPhone Settings app, and that the daily note is switched on in Marea's own Settings, where you can also change the time it arrives. Notifications are scheduled by your device, so they will still arrive without an internet connection.
Phases are estimates based on the dates you have logged, and estimates drift. On the Check In screen you can tell Marea where you actually are, and on the Cycle screen you can edit or add past periods so future estimates improve. If your cycles are irregular, or you are on hormonal birth control, pregnant, postpartum, or in perimenopause, open Settings and set your tracking mode. Marea will stop predicting phases and adjust what it shows you.
When too much time passes since your last logged period, Marea stops showing a confident day count rather than guessing. Logging your most recent period brings it back.
Feature ideas, copy that landed wrong, or anything that felt off are all welcome. Write to [email protected].
